‘UoB must manage money better’

Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail on Thursday said that the government has to focus on good financial management and strict academic discipline to take a public sector varsity like University of Balochistan (UoB) on the path of sustainable development.

He said that financial management and education disciplines together form the foundation on which lasting success to be built. He said that by effectively allocating resources, following rules and regulations, higher education institutions could achieve their goals and objectives which lead to long-term success and quality education.

He expressed these views while presiding over the tenth session of the University of Balochistan.

While appreciating the performance of Acting Vice Chancellor Dr Zahoor Ahmed Bazai of UoB and his entire team, the governor said that your efforts were commendable, but we have to take more measures for progress of the varsity.
