Group of students spend day with Pakistan Army
Students from various universities across Sindh recently spent a day with the Pakistan Army at Malir Garrison.
The group, which includes students of colleges and universities, visited the Martyrs' Memorial to offer Fateha and observed an array of military equipment, including Al-Khalid tanks. The students commended the Pakistan Army for its sacrifices in defending the country and reaffirmed their support for the armed forces. They noted that the opportunity to witness the military's capabilities firsthand helped dispel many misconceptions about the army and Pakistan itself.
The students expressed pride in the armed forces and acknowledged their crucial role in national defence.
Many of them remarked that social media propaganda had distorted their understanding of the military, and the visit clarified these misconceptions.
Paying tribute at the martyrs' memorial deeply moved the students, who felt disheartened by the negative portrayal of the sacrifices made by those who gave their lives for Pakistan.
The students were briefed on modern weapons and received hands-on experience with small arms. They concluded that the experience was unforgettable, reinforcing their belief in the Pakistan Army as a symbol of national pride and honour.
