ISLAMABAD:

The Supreme Court on Thursday expressed its displeasure with the K-P government, while hearing a case against the timber export.

During the hearing by a bench comprising Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel, the court remarked that it was an important matter that had been pending since 2013, and asked why the K-P government did not ask for early hearing.

Justice Masood said the K-P government was sleeping and in that was the whole forests would be cut down. On that Justice Miankhel said both the government and the forest department were sleeping.
