Woman booked for murdering man
A woman shot and killed a man in a farmhouse in Kotla Sukhani.
The suspect managed to escape from the spot. The police registered a case and conducted raids to arrest her.
According to sources, the woman shot and killed a 25-year-old employee of a doctor, Ghulam Shabbir.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to a teaching hospital for post-mortem.
The brother of the deceased, Sagheer Ahmed, told the police that he went to meet the victim at the farmhouse of his employer, Dr Zahid Fareed and found the door open.
When he entered the house, he saw that a woman named Maria pointing a pistol at Ghulam Shabbir, following which she shot him dead.’
The complainant alleged the doctor came to the spot along with an unknown person and drove the suspect away.
The police registered a case on the complaint of the brother of the deceased and said they were investigating the murder from various aspects.
