In a People magazine article, the couple suggests that their media activities, including interviews and deals with major platforms, are partly aimed at securing the desired security measures.

Brittany from Royal News Network highlights the public outrage over these demands, especially given their status as non-working royals.

"Why didn’t you just spend it on the community?" Brittany questions, reflecting widespread sentiment about the allocation of resources. 

She points out that taxpayers in the UK, US, or Canada should not be responsible for funding their security. Brittany asserts that Harry and Meghan's actions have increased their public unpopularity, making their expectations unrealistic. 

She also criticises People magazine for not challenging the couple's narrative, stating, "They just take the story from Harry and Meghan and run with it."
