'Wednesday' season 3 first look reveals Jenna Ortega in Paris with new story direction
Season 3 will build on end of Season 2, which saw Wednesday leaving Nevermore Academy and setting off on a new journey

Netflix has unveiled the first look at Season 3 of Wednesday, teasing a major shift in setting for the hit series.
The newly released image shows Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams standing near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, marking a dramatic expansion of the show’s world beyond its usual setting.
The first-look photo, shared by Netflix, features Wednesday alongside her loyal companion Thing, standing next to a motorcycle while holding a piece of paper, all while maintaining her signature deadpan expression.
The caption accompanying the image reads, “From Paris, with dread,” hinting at the show’s continued dark tone while introducing an international twist.
Season 3 appears to build on the ending of Season 2, which saw Wednesday leaving Nevermore Academy and setting off on a new journey. The move to Paris suggests a broader and more ambitious storyline, though specific plot details remain under wraps.
Production on the new season began earlier in 2026, with filming taking place in locations including Ireland and Paris, further reinforcing the show’s expanded scope.
The series, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, has become one of Netflix’s biggest hits since its debut, with Ortega’s portrayal of Wednesday Addams earning widespread acclaim.
While a release date for Season 3 has not yet been announced, the first-look image signals that the next chapter will take the gothic teen detective far beyond Nevermore, and into a new international mystery.
