Streamer Adin Ross has announced a forthcoming interview with former President Donald Trump as part of the 2024 election campaign. Ross shared the news during a livestream on the platform Kick, a clip of which was reposted by DJ Akademiks on Instagram on Tuesday night. "Officially locked in," Ross stated. "We will have a livestream with President Donald Trump on August 5th and it's gonna be insane. It's gonna be probably around 1:00 PM, eastern time. Stay up to date on my socials but it's 100% locked in." He expressed his excitement about the opportunity, although further details about the stream remain unclear.
This announcement adds to a week of notable celebrity involvement in the 2024 Presidential Election. Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a rally in Atlanta on Tuesday night, featuring appearances by Megan Thee Stallion and Quavo. Quavo spoke about the importance of gun safety regulation, referencing the tragic death of Takeoff in 2022. "You can’t understand the struggles of gun violence if you’re not in the field or in the heart of it," he remarked on stage.
In contrast, rapper Lil Pump criticized Harris in a series of rants on X (formerly Twitter). Responding to Megan Thee Stallion's appearance at Harris's rally, he wrote, "Kamala Harris needs Megan Thee Stallion shaking ass to have people show up to her rally. Donald Trump needs himself to have people show up to his rally. One person is powered by the people, the other is powered by the establishment."
