Princess Anne presents medals at Paris Olympics following hospital recovery

Princess Anne has made her first overseas trip just weeks after being rushed to the hospital with head injuries from a horse-related incident. 

The Princess Royal, who competed for Great Britain in equestrian events at the 1976 Olympics, travelled to Paris for the Olympic Games, where she has been actively participating in ceremonies.

On Monday, she awarded gold medals to Team GB's eventing team and later presented swimmer Adam Peaty with his silver medal for the 100m breaststroke. Today, she handed out gold medals to Team GB's women's quadruple sculls team. Additionally, Princess Anne has been spotted enjoying Rugby Sevens, archery, and hockey events and delivered a motivational speech to Team GB at the British embassy in Paris.

Her return to public duties has delighted royal fans. Last month, she spent five nights in the hospital after being struck by a horse near her Gatcombe Park home, causing her to cancel several engagements, including a trip to Canada. Known for her illustrious equestrian career, Princess Anne was the first royal to compete in the Olympics and serves as a patron for numerous horse and animal-related charities.
