Tech mogul Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of Telegram, has stunned the world with a revelation about his personal life.

In a recent post on the messaging app, Durov disclosed to his 5.7 million followers that he has fathered over 100 children worldwide.

"I was just told that I have over 100 biological kids. How is this possible for a guy who has never been married and prefers to live alone?" he said.

The unexpected announcement follows Durov's sperm donation efforts, which began 15 years ago when a friend in need of fertility assistance approached him.

The clinic’s director convinced him to consider it a "civic duty" to donate, leading to his contributions aiding over 100 couples across 12 countries.

Durov plans to open-source his DNA to help his biological children connect and aims to reduce the stigma surrounding sperm donation.

Despite stopping his donations years ago, his frozen sperm remains available at some IVF clinics.

His revelation has received mixed responses, with some critics questioning the ethical implications of tech billionaires’ growing number of offspring.

Elon Musk joined the conversation, humorously comparing Durov’s achievement to Genghis Khan's legacy with the comment, “‘Rookie numbers lmao’ – Genghis Khan.”
