Druski opens up about breakup with Rubi Rose: ‘You better have them pockets ready’

Druski opens up about his breakup with Rubi Rose, sharing insights and lessons learned from the relationship.

Comedian Druski recently opened up about his breakup with Rubi Rose, shedding light on the split during an appearance on the Big Tigger Morning Show. The pair, who dated for a few months, called it quits in June. Rubi Rose had revealed the breakup earlier, expressing her feelings during interviews where she declared herself single and made statements like "F*** love" when asked about her favorite love song.

During his recent interview, Druski confirmed his single status and shared his perspective on the breakup. “Yeah, I’m single, man,” he said. “God blesses you sometimes with situations. It’s a learning situation. That’s what it’s all about.” Druski elaborated that there was no specific incident that led to the breakup, noting that Rose is a "beautiful girl" who is doing well in her life and career. He acknowledged that he may not have been fully prepared for the demands of a relationship with someone of her caliber.

“[There wasn’t] nothing bad that happened,” Druski explained. “We just, you know – she’s a beautiful girl. She’s doing great in life, man. She’s making money, I’m doing the same… I learned that when you got a bad b***h, you can’t really…when you have a beautiful woman, of that caliber…it comes with a lot. And I don’t know if I was prepared yet.”

Druski emphasized that he views the experience as a valuable lesson and intends to apply what he learned to future relationships. He added humorously, "I learned a lot from it, so I think I’m coming out of that [relationship] – you better have them pockets ready. I ain’t saying that’s what happened – you just gotta be ready. Because you don’t know when you’re gonna have to be pulling that wallet out…”
