Deftones announce surprise warm-up show before Lollapalooza

Deftones will be in Chicago this weekend for their scheduled Lollapalooza performance on Saturday. 

Prior to the main event, the band has arranged a surprise warm-up show at Metro on Thursday, August 1. This exclusive gig will feature Vein.fm spin-off Fleshwater, which includes members Anthony DiDio, Jeremy Martin, and Matt Wood from Vein.fm, along with Marisa Shirar of MIRSY. 

Tickets for this warm-up concert are available only through will-call and are already sold out.

In addition to their Lollapalooza set, Deftones are gearing up for a significant performance at Golden Gate Park alongside System of a Down in August. 

The band has also announced their 2024 Dia De Los Deftones festival, scheduled for November in San Diego. This event will showcase a range of artists including IDLES, Sunny Day Real Estate, performing their album "Diary" in full, HEALTH, Paris Texas, Duster, Gel, and Qendresa.
