Chris Evans makes a surprising return, not as Captain America, but as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, from Fox's "Fantastic Four." Other characters from the pre-Disney acquisition era also appear, including Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Wesley Snipes as Blade, and Channing Tatum finally realizing his dream of playing Gambit.

The MCU also gets its share of representation, with appearances from Happy Hogan, the Hulk, and Wunmi Mosaku's Hunter B-15 from "Loki." Deadpool and Wolverine variants abound, including Henry Cavill as Cavillrine, Blake Lively as Ladypool, Matthew McConaughey as Cowboy Deadpool, and Nathan Fillion as Headpool.

The film doesn't shy away from referencing other projects from Reynolds and Jackman's careers, like "The Proposal" and "Music Man," and even includes a nod to the real-life on-set drama between Reynolds and Snipes during "Blade: Trinity."

"Deadpool & Wolverine" is a treasure trove of Easter eggs for fans of both franchises, with nods to iconic comic book moments, repurposed footage, and even a glimpse of Tony Stark's arc reactor. The film is a celebration of all things superhero, and a testament to the endless possibilities of the multiverse.
