IHC directs CDA to de-seal PTI office

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to de-seal the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf central secretariat.

During a hearing of the PTI petition to de-seal its office, the IHC overturned the orders of the CDA and directed the authority to immediately re-open it.

The court also directed the PTI to put in place fire safety measures in the building within a week. The court stated that the PTI had agreed with the CDA officials to make various arrangements, including installation of the fire extinguisher on every floor and fire pump on the roof.
