Rihanna has revealed her latest Savage X Fenty collection, set to drop on August 1, through a striking new Instagram video. The 36-year-old singer, who was recently seen on a romantic stroll with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, shared the news on Tuesday, showcasing herself in a leopard-print bra and nude-toned lingerie.
“We want you to feel sexy and have fun doing it,” Rihanna captioned her post. The "Diamonds" hitmaker was seen striking various risqué poses, complementing her look with black high heels and a dazzling array of jewelry. She maintained her trademark raven tresses flowing freely.
This announcement follows the appointment of Vanessa Wallace as the new chief marketing officer for Savage X Fenty. Wallace, who will be based in Los Angeles and report to CEO Hillary Super, will oversee brand and product marketing, media, creative, membership, and global communications. Wallace joins the company after a 19-year tenure at Nike and is described by Savage X Fenty as having an "impressive track record of driving brand strength and revenue growth through authentic and innovative storytelling."
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, parents to sons RZA and Riot, have been friends for many years and began their romantic relationship four years ago. Rocky opened for Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour in 2013, and she starred in his "Fashion Killa" music video the same year. By November 2020, an insider revealed to People that the longtime friends had officially become a couple.
