Lana Condor, the actress known for her role in "To All the Boys," has publicly mourned the death of her mother, Mary.

On Instagram, Condor posted a throwback photo with her late mother and shared her deep sorrow. "I'm laying here thinking about everything I want to say to you, how to put into words the sheer devastation of losing you and how it has carved me out and left me lost," Condor wrote in her tribute.

She expressed the feeling of hoping her mother would return from an errand or call her back, as she still struggles to accept the loss.

Condor honoured her mother’s impact on her life, noting that Mary taught her "how to love the world and others as if there was no such thing as hate," as well as "empathy" and "unconditional kindness and compassion."

The actress also highlighted how her mother’s humorous perspective was a vital survival tool.

In her emotional post, Condor reflected on the joy and warmth her mother brought into her life, lamenting that sunrises will feel muted without her presence.

Condor ended her tribute with a heartfelt message: "I used to say 'I love you more than you could possibly ever know,' I hope now, wherever you are, that you know. You found me first, and I pray with everything that I am, that you'll find me again. I love you endlessly. Love, Lanzie."

The post garnered an outpouring of support from celebrities, including Brenda Song, Quinta Brunson, and Olivia Munn, who all sent their condolences.

Condor and her brother Arthur were adopted from Vietnam by Mary and her husband Bob. In a July 2023 interview with Allure, Condor praised her parents for their support in helping her understand her cultural roots.
