BTS’ Jungkook's 'GOLDEN' hits new Spotify milestone with record-breaking run
Jungkook has marked a significant achievement on Spotify with his solo album, ‘GOLDEN’
The latest Spotify chart (July 19-25) reveals that 'GOLDEN' has secured the 23rd spot on the 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart. This represents a rise of six places from the previous week.
Jungkook's album has set a notable record as the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist on this chart, maintaining its position for 38 consecutive weeks.
Additionally, Jungkook's solo tracks 'Seven' and 'Standing Next to You' have also made their mark, with 'Seven' at 48th and 'Standing Next to You' at 92nd on the Spotify 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart.
'GOLDEN' has made history by being the first album by an Asian solo artist to stay on the Spotify Global Album Chart for 38 weeks. It also achieved the highest weekly debut streaming for an Asian solo artist with 195.3 million filtered streams.
Furthermore, Jungkook became the first K-pop solo artist to have multiple tracks (Left and Right, Seven) chart for 300 days on the Spotify 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart.
The album has reached another milestone by surpassing 4 billion unfiltered streams on Spotify, making it the fastest studio album by an Asian artist to achieve this.
'GOLDEN' also set a record as the fastest Asian studio album to have seven tracks each surpassing 100 million streams.
