Chace Crawford wants 'Gossip Girl' reunion on 'The Boys,' pitches Ed Westwick as a 'Dark Batman'

Chace Crawford, who stars in 'The Boys,' expressed interest in a 'Gossip Girl' reunion on the Prime Video series.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Chace Crawford, star of "The Boys," expressed enthusiasm for a "Gossip Girl" reunion on the Prime Video superhero series. He suggested that former co-stars Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick would be ideal for cameos, with Westwick potentially playing a "dark Batman" or similar character.

Crawford, who played Nate Archibald in "Gossip Girl" and currently portrays The Deep in "The Boys," didn't mention specific roles for Blake Lively or Leighton Meester.

While a "Gossip Girl" reunion remains a fantasy for now, Crawford is confirmed to appear in the second season of "The Boys" spinoff, "Gen V," reprising his role as The Deep. He joins other actors who have crossed over from the main series, including Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and P.J. Byrne.

Meanwhile, "The Boys" is set to conclude after its fifth season, as confirmed by showrunner Eric Kripke. He expressed his excitement about bringing the story to a "gory, epic, moist climax" while staying true to the show's satirical take on superhero culture.

Fans can catch the first four seasons of "The Boys" on Prime Video and all six seasons of "Gossip Girl" on Max.
