San Diego Comic-Con 2024 has come and gone, leaving a trail of exciting announcements and reveals in its wake. Here's a recap of the biggest news:

  • Movies: New trailers for Transformers One and The Penguin dropped, giving fans a glimpse into the upcoming blockbusters.

     


     



    The Fantastic Four film finally has a full title: The Fantastic 4: First Steps.
     



    Marvel Studios also unveiled footage from Thunderbolts and revealed that adamantium is coming to the MCU, tying into the Eternals storyline.
     


     

  • TV: Prime Video announced a The Boys prequel series called Vought Rising, set in the 1950s.
     



    A new clip from The Crow starring Bill Skarsgård was also revealed, along with a teaser for the animated DC series Creature Commandos.

     

     

  • Marvel: The biggest surprise came from Marvel, with the announcement of two Avengers movies in 2026 and 2027: Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: Doomsday. Robert Downey Jr. also made a surprise appearance in a Dr. Doom costume, confirming his return to the MCU as a villain.
