Philadelphia rapper Petty Levels, whose real name was Mia Bennett, has passed away at the age of 23.

News of her death spread across social media on Wednesday evening, with many fans and loved ones expressing their sorrow and admiration.

Chosen One Records, her record label, confirmed the news by posting a picture of Bennett with the caption, "We regret to inform you of the passing of our lil sis."

Although reports claim Bennett died in Florida last week, neither law enforcement nor her family has officially confirmed the details. Chris Wilkerson, a spokesperson for Hillsborough County, stated that Bennett died in Tampa on 19 July but did not provide the cause or manner of her death due to an ongoing investigation. Efforts to reach the Tampa Police for additional information were unsuccessful.

Bennett's family has requested privacy as they grieve her sudden loss and declined to provide further comments. Despite rumours circulating on social media that she was killed in Philadelphia, her family has denied these claims without further explanation.

Mia Bennett rose to fame through her freestyle rap videos and adventurous social media posts, which included activities like skydiving and surfing. She began making music in 2018, often sharing witty and relatable lyrics about her love life that resonated with young women.
