Christina Hall calls ex Josh Hall an ‘insecure man with a big ego’ amid divorce

Christina Hall has voiced her frustration following her estranged husband Josh Hall's recent return to social media. 

Josh shared a photo of himself walking in the woods with a praying hands emoji as a caption. In response, Christina took to social media with a pointed message about their split.

Her post featured a statement in white text on a black background, reading, "I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/ what they did NOT work for should be ashamed. An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you- but 'still i rise' ...." 

Christina further clarified, "For those that aren't aware ... divorces do not happen overnight .. & there is always a breaking point. This one is personal......."

Documents obtained by PEOPLE reveal that Josh filed for divorce on July 15, 2024, citing "irreconcilable differences." He also requested spousal support. 

The couple, who married in a secret courthouse ceremony in October 2021 and held a celebration in Hawaii in September 2022, officially separated on July 8, 2024. An insider noted that the couple had been experiencing marital issues for some time.

Christina, who was previously married to Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead, is currently filming The Flip Off, a show where she and Josh were set to compete against Tarek and his new wife, Heather El Moussa. 

Tarek has publicly expressed his support for Christina, stating, "I think life’s tough, s--t happens. I think she’s gonna get through this. We’re here to support her."
