Taylor Swift calls Ryan Renolds her “godkids’ donor”, endorses Deadpool & Wolverine on Instagram

Marvel and Disney's Deadpool & Wolverine is set to shatter box office records this weekend, and the edgy, profanity-laden R-rated superhero film has earned high praise from none other than Taylor Swift!

“Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film,” Swift began her Instagram Stories post to her 284 million followers.

“He’s created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it.”

Next came the playful teasing: “But that’s Hugh for you!” —a nod to Wade Wilson, Reynolds' character from the Deadpool series. Swift added, referring to the photo she posted with Jackman, Reynolds, Lively, and filmmaker Shawn Levy, “These other randoms crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave.”

She then gave her endorsement by announcing that Deadpool & Wolverine will be in theaters on Friday, including a link for ticket purchases for those who enjoy “like things that are unspeakably awesome.” (And R-rated!)

She then shared a personal tidbit: One of the most accomplished and celebrated lyricists in music ended her post by giving a nod to “Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!”
