RAHIM YAR KHAN:
A man has been arrested by Rahim Yar Khan police for allegedly killing his brother as well as six members of the family.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday night, Bahawalpur regional police officer Capt (retd) Abid Qadri and Rahim Yar Khan district police officer Sohail Zafar Chathha said Abdul Khaliq had confessed to killing his brother, Rana Sadiq, and his family. The man told the police that he killed his brother and his family so that he could occupy his property. The suspect told the police that he was aided by his wife Tahira Bibi and son Ghulam Abbas. Earlier, Sadiq, his wife and children were found killed at their home on Wednesday. Two suspects had yet to be arrested.
