Capital police launch crackdown on one-wheeling

ISLAMABAD:

Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has launched a district-wide crackdown on "one-wheeling" after a viral video showed a young man performing a stunt on a motorcycle, resulting in the injury of a federal police officer.

In response to the incident, police have installed barricades and taken action against 100 motorcycles. Instructions have been issued to all zonal DSPs, and special squads have been formed to crack down on underage drivers and wheelers.

Roadblocks have been set up at key highways and intersections in Islamabad to apprehend violators.
