Prince Harry has reached out to the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, following her recent appearance at the Wimbledon Men's Final on 14 July, a source has claimed.

Princess Kate, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, has made only two official royal engagements since her diagnosis. The first was at the King's official birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, and the second was at Wimbledon, where she presented Carlos Alcaraz with the winning trophy after his Grand Slam victory.

An insider revealed to Heat Magazine that Harry had watched the match and was pleased to see Kate looking well. "Harry was watching Wimbledon and was thrilled to see Kate looking so radiant. He sent her a note to congratulate her and let her know how happy he was to see her out," the source said. He added that Harry was grateful Kate was "on the mend" and able to "get back to duties."

Princess Kate received a standing ovation from the Wimbledon crowd, celebrating her second public appearance in 2024. She watched Carlos Alcaraz's dominant straight-sets win over Novak Djokovic and presented the trophies to both players at the end of the match on Centre Court.

This year, Kate sat in the royal box with her younger sister Pippa Middleton and her nine-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte. The trio walked to their seats amidst ongoing applause and cheers from the crowd.
