Sean Diddy Combs is a suspect in the murder of Tupac Shakur
Sean "Diddy" Combs is under scrutiny regarding his alleged role in Tupac Shakur's murder, as he is mentioned over 70 times in the prosecutors' recent legal filing.
According to recent court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, gangster Duane "Keefe D" Davis, who is currently being prosecuted for Tupac's murder, has accused Combs of offering $1 million for the assassination.
It remains unclear whether Diddy will be subpoenaed or indicted in connection with the murder case, as prosecutors aim to secure justice for the legendary rapper, who was killed in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996.
The U.S. Sun has contacted the Clark County District Attorney's Office for a statement regarding Combs' alleged role in the case.
This is the latest legal issue for Combs, who faced a federal sex trafficking investigation in March that included raids on his properties.
Diddy is also facing several lawsuits from women alleging sexual assault and sex trafficking, all of which he denies.
Combs has previously denied any involvement in Tupac's murder.
In documents filed on Thursday, Combs is referenced 77 times under various names, including Puffy, Puff Daddy, Puff, and his real name, Sean Combs.
He is initially referenced as prosecutors describe the "deadly rivalry" between Combs' Bad Boy Records on the East Coast and Death Row Records on the West Coast, led by Marion "Suge" Knight, which culminated in Pac's shooting.
The documents claim that following the shooting, suspect Keefe traveled to New York with a Los Angeles police task force to go undercover and attempt to collect incriminating evidence against Combs and another gangster, Eric "Zip" Martin, in connection with the murder.
