Maintaining Security: Special surveillance ordered of late night heavy traffic

CCPO said that there was a need to check all heavy vehicles entering the city between 3:00 am to 6:00 am.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahmad Raza Tahir on Thursday directed inspecting heavy vehicles entering the city, especially during late night hours.



In a statement released on Thursday, the CCPO said that there was a need to check all heavy vehicles entering the city between 3:00 am to 6:00 am.

He said pickets at entrances to the city should be properly lit at this time. He also directed the officers to ensure that walk-through gates were used properly.

He asked the divisional superintendents of police to personally monitor their subordinates deputed at shrines and Imam bargahs across the city.
