Raoof was arrested on Monday during a raid on the PTI Secretariat, seizing a computer and other items. According to sources, authorities allege that the digital media cell at PTI's office had become a hub for international disinformation, where anti-Pakistan propaganda was being carried out in collaboration with enemy agencies.

Today, the FIA prosecutor requested an extension of eight more days of physical remand, arguing that the accused are active in 100 WhatsApp groups. He stated that Raoof heads both international and national media cells, and Jibran Ilyas has previously worked with a foreign president.
