The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that former selection committee member and pacer Wahab Riaz will attend the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) coaching workshop in the Maldives.

The workshop is scheduled for July 29-30 and will focus on the latest coaching techniques and strategies for talent development at the grassroots level.

In a statement, the PCB said, “The ICC will hold a two-day High-Performance workshop in Maldives on 29-30 July.

"Former Test cricketer Wahab Riaz and former international cricketer Shahid Anwar (head coach National Cricket Academy) will participate in the workshop.”

The PCB also announced that General Manager Academies Dr. Imran Abbas will attend a four-day ICC Level-2 Tutors training course in Malé starting on July 24.

This training is part of the ICC’s education program designed to equip member countries with qualified Level-2 tutors who will, in turn, train coaches.

The ICC has appointed former Pakistan cricketer Iqbal Sikander and former Bangladesh Test captain Amin-ul-Islam to conduct the course.
