Teresa Giudice calls out toxicity on social media amid 'RHONJ' drama
Teresa Giudice is urging fans to stop engaging with the toxicity of social media, saying it's affecting her and her castmates' families.
The Bravo star shared a statement on Instagram, expressing her thoughts on what she's seeing online. "I have been on The Real Housewives of New Jersey for the last 14 seasons and during that time I have seen and been part of my fair share of drama with my cast mates," Giudice wrote.
She continued, "What is happening off camera on social media, is absolutely disgusting and is fueled by toxic people who are not affiliated with the show or the cast and are only interested in promoting themselves by spreading their hate through false narratives and lies."
Giudice didn't specify what she was talking about, but the statement comes as the cast is more divided than ever. The reality series is likely to experience a major shakeup after Season 14 concludes, with some cast members refusing to film with each other.
The toxicity being experienced "has affected all of us on the cast and our families," Giudice noted. "They are attacking our children, going after our businesses and they are turning something that is supposed to be entertainment into something very dark and toxic," she added.
"This hate and toxicity has to stop. I am asking everyone to stop engaging in any negativity towards cast mates and all of our families. Enough is enough."
After Giudice posted her statement, her co-stars Rachel Fuda and Melissa Gorga shared Instagram Stories, seemingly replying to her. Fuda posted a definition of gaslighting, a meme of The Office that read, "Me trying to explain to toxic ppl why I can't be around them," and a meme calling out hypocrisy. Gorga, Giudice's estranged sister-in-law, shared a post that said, "Beware of Wolf in Sheep's clothing," adding the hashtags "laughable" and "delusional."
