Jennifer Lopez Throws Lavish Bridgerton-Themed Birthday Bash in the Hamptons

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday in grand style with a Bridgerton-inspired party held in the Hamptons on Saturday, July 20. 

The multi-talented star shared a video montage of the extravagant affair on Instagram, capturing the essence of a 19th-century English ball reminiscent of Netflix's popular series, Bridgerton.

The video, set to orchestral music, showcased Lopez and her guests dressed in period-appropriate attire, dancing and enjoying the festivities. Lopez herself was seen singing into a microphone and later blowing out candles on a beautifully adorned cake, surrounded by sparkles and the company of her loved ones.

Among the attendees was Lopez's mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, who arrived at the event with friends also dressed in elegant period costumes. 

However, notably absent from the celebration was Lopez's husband, Ben Affleck, who reportedly did not attend due to geographical separation. 

Lopez and Affleck have spent significant parts of the summer on opposite coasts, including their second wedding anniversary on July 16.

Throughout the summer, Lopez has been making the most of her time in the Hamptons, occasionally accompanied by Affleck's daughter, Violet. The pair were recently spotted enjoying activities together in Southampton, highlighting Lopez's commitment to family time amidst her busy schedule.

Lopez's birthday festivities have become a notable tradition, with previous celebrations marked by glamorous moments shared on social media. Last year, she celebrated with a lively gathering that included dancing, cocktails, and scenic views, while the year before saw her going public with Affleck on a Mediterranean yacht trip.
