Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman express interest in teaming up with Tom Holland's Spider-Man
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, stars of the upcoming Marvel film "Deadpool & Wolverine," have expressed their desire to collaborate with Tom Holland's Spider-Man. In an interview with Marvel Thailand, Reynolds and Jackman shared their enthusiasm for integrating Holland's character into their Marvel universe.
Ryan Reynolds highlighted Deadpool's aspiration to join the Avengers, saying, “Deadpool is part of his storyline, he wants to matter, so badly wants to be an Avenger, a part of the team. And he just can’t quite get there, as Wolverine is everything I wish I was. He’s a legend, he matters, he saves people, and he has done hero stuff, but I have to pick one, I’d love to play with Spider-Man.” Hugh Jackman agreed, adding humorously, “He’s so cool. That would be great. And he’s young, we could pile on him and abuse him." Reynolds further joked, “You can hurt him. You can hit him as hard as you want. He will get right up.”
The actors’ comments come amid speculation that Spider-Man might appear in "Deadpool & Wolverine." Fans have theorized that the character appearing could be Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, based on a scene in the latest trailer where Deadpool tries to shoot webs from his wrists, a trait unique to Maguire's version of the character.
Additionally, Jackman expressed interest in having the Hulk on his side, naming the Gamma superhero as another character he would like to see join their team.
