Joe Budden calls Drake his 'son' after confrontation with angry fan
Twitter Spaces has emerged as the go-to platform for rappers and the hip-hop community to engage in lively conversations.
Over the past 72 hours, Lupe Fiasco and Joe Budden have been trending on the social media platform for their headline-making debates with fans.
Joe Budden hosted the latest chat room, which saw Chicago native Lupe Fiasco joining the discussion.
Lupe took the opportunity to clarify comments he made about his alleged beef with Kendrick Lamar during his own Spaces event over the weekend.
This led Joe Budden to address the narrative that he dislikes Drake.
As with their previous Twitter Spaces sessions, at least one fan became upset with the host. A passionate Drake fan was not pleased with Joe’s remarks.
Comparing Budden's presence on Spaces to Lamar's lyric, "I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk," the fan grew increasingly enraged, telling Joe to "eat a d**" and even referencing past accusations against Budden.
Despite the heated exchange, Budden remained fairly calm.
Recognizing that he was getting under the fan's skin, he went further by saying that instead of hating him, the fan actually loves him.
To escalate the situation, Budden mockingly called the fan his "grandson," showcasing his ability to handle intense debates with humor and composure.
