Key SIFC projects under review

The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) reviewed different cross-sectoral matters in its meeting held on Tuesday in the federal capital.

The meeting was chaired by the federal minister for planning, development and special initiatives. Federal and provincial ministers, federal secretaries, provincial chief secretaries and high-level officials were in attendance.

In the meeting of the executive committee, all provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan also reviewed the cross-sectoral aspects.

The relevant ministries presented their reports about the development of policy steps for key projects falling under the SIFC ambit.

The ministries also presented detailed strategies to expedite future efforts.
