Twitch streamer Baller banned following Walmart incident

The streamer was banned after a chaotic incident at Walmart, which violated the platform's community guidelines.

Twitch streamer Baller has been banned from the platform following a viral clip of him and his friend setting off fireworks inside a Walmart store.

On July 22, 2024, Baller’s stream showed him and fellow streamer Hatecaps igniting a firework in a Walmart checkout lane. The video captures their panic as one man attempts to extinguish the firework shortly after it began.

Walmart employees tried to intervene, but Baller and Hatecaps fled into the store’s parking lot. It remains unclear whether the staff or authorities apprehended them.

Following the incident, Baller’s Twitch channel was suspended, displaying a message: “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”

Hatecaps, however, has not been banned from Twitch at the time of writing. While the exact reason for the ban is unspecified, the stunt clearly breaches Twitch’s Terms of Service regarding prohibited content.
