‘Stray bullets’ claim two lives

The Jamshed Quarter police have registered a case of murder under section of culpable homicide for the killing of an auto parts shop owner who was hit by a stray bullet in the head and died.

According to the details, on Sunday, in the area of Jamshed Quarters Police Station, near Yadgar Fish on Jamshed Road No. 3,

A stray bullet hit the owner of Bilal Autos Qazi Suleman in the head when he was standing outside his shop. 30-year-old Suleman lost his life; Jamshed Quarters Police have registered a case under section 322 against unknown persons on the complaint of deceased's brother, Qazi Abdul Samad.

SHO Jamshed Quarters Imtiaz Hussain stated, "no one present at the scene saw anyone firing or heard the sound of gunshots.
