Footage emerges of Donald Trump predicting Joe Biden’s election withdrawal

A leaked video featuring former President Donald Trump has re-emerged following President Joe Biden's announcement on 21 July 2024 that he is stepping down from the 2024 presidential race.
In the video, recorded after the first presidential debate on 27 June 2024, Trump offers a blunt assessment of Biden, describing him as a "broken-down pile of crap" on the verge of "quitting the race." The clip, originally obtained by the Daily Beast, shows Trump discussing the campaign while sitting in a golf cart, holding cash, with his son Barron nearby.
Trump asks off-camera, “How did I do with the debate the other night?” He then declares, “Kicked that all-broken-down pile of cr*p. He just quit. I got him outta the race. That means we have Kamala... She's so bad.” Trump’s remarks followed a hidden camera incident earlier this month where he claimed he beat Biden so decisively in the debate that Kamala Harris would replace him.
Trump was ridiculed by the media earlier this month when a hidden video camera captured him saying he beat Biden so badly in the debate that Kamala Harris would be replacing him.
Today, that became a reality.

Despite Trump’s assertions, the White House and many Democrats maintained that Biden will remain the nominee. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre even stated, “Absolutely not,” denying any intention of Biden withdrawing from the race. Several Democratic governors echoed this sentiment, declaring Biden is "in it to win it."
