Coldplay's classic hit "Viva La Vida" climbs Billboard Global 200, reaches new peak

Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" sees a new surge in popularity, alongside their recent single, “Feelslikeimfallinginlove.”

Coldplay has embarked on a fresh journey as they promote their upcoming album, "Moon Music." 

Recently, they released the lead single, "Feelslikeimfallinginlove," which has been steadily ascending various Billboard charts.

As the new single garners attention, fans worldwide are also revisiting Coldplay's biggest hits. Among these, the timeless "Viva La Vida" has surged in popularity, achieving a new milestone on an essential chart. 

This week, "Viva La Vida" climbs 10 spots on the Billboard Global 200, moving from No. 69 to No. 59, marking a new peak for the well-loved orchestral pop track.

Originally released in 2008 as part of their album "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends," the song was a major commercial success, topping charts globally, including in the U.K. and the U.S.

While "Viva La Vida" enjoys renewed success, it is not Coldplay's only achievement on the Billboard Global 200 this week. The band holds five spots on the chart, showcasing their enduring popularity. Their latest single, "Feelslikeimfallinginlove," has dropped to No. 142 after previously peaking at No. 57.

Other tracks by Coldplay also feature prominently on the chart. "Yellow" sits at No. 130, "Something Just Like This" with The Chainsmokers at No. 135, and "A Sky Full of Stars" at No. 144.
