Parks and Recreation actress Aubrey Plaza is turning her torn ACL into a moment of resilience and fun.

Despite her injury, Plaza attended a basketball game and made sure to ice and wrap her knee.

The 40-year-old actress sustained the injury while playing a game of knockout at the Phoenix Mercury practice facility, according to Deadline.

Plaza's injury was visible during the broadcast of the WNBA All-Star game on Saturday, July 20, at the Footprint Center in Arizona, where she sat courtside.

She had an ice wrap on her knee, covered by a towel with the Gatorade logo, and used crutches to assist her when standing and walking.

Announcer Ryan Ruocco revealed the injury during the game: "I feel for Aubrey Plaza. She came this weekend with a healthy knee. She’s leaving with a torn ACL thanks to a hardy game of ‘knockout’ at the Mercury practice facility."

Plaza was seated next to former soccer player Megan Rapinoe and former basketball player Sue Bird, who even helped adjust her ice pack at one point.

Dressed in jeans, a white t-shirt with a purple button-down, sneakers, and a backward orange baseball cap, Plaza kept her spirits high.

She even donned black sunglasses and playfully waved her crutches around. This is not her first experience with a torn ACL; she previously suffered the same injury in 2016 during a women's recreation league game in Los Angeles.

Plaza shared her experience on Instagram: "@wnba ALL STAR WEEKEND. How it started…how it went… Nothing can stop us! Thank you @wnba for hosting such an amazing weekend and taking such good care of me and my busted knee. Such a great game. See you in Paris (no)."

Her post included photos of her stretching, icing her knee, and enjoying the game from the front row.
