Taylor Swift has achieved a new milestone on the Billboard charts, marking her latest album's impressive run.

As of Saturday, July 20, Swift’s album, "The Tortured Poets Department," has topped the Billboard 200 for 12 consecutive weeks.

This marks a career-high for the 34-year-old singer, surpassing the previous record held by Whitney Houston’s 1987 album "Whitney."

In an Instagram post, Swift thanked her fans, known as Swifties, for their support. "I also wanted to say to everyone who’s supported The Tortured Poets Department, I am completely blown away by what you’ve done,” she wrote.

“It stayed at #1 for the first 12 weeks of its release and that’s never happened to an album of mine before, not even close!! You’re just the greatest.”

Earlier in the week, Swift’s album overtook Houston’s record, making it the only album by a female artist to spend its first 12 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200. Only Morgan Wallen’s "One Thing at a Time" and Stevie Wonder’s "Songs in the Key of Life" have matched this feat.

Swift celebrated her achievement after her Eras Tour performances at Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Her Instagram post highlighted the enthusiastic crowds and creative fan tributes during her concerts.

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was seen attending the shows, capturing moments of her performance and supporting her from the audience.

Swift's tour continues with concerts in Hamburg and Munich before returning to the U.S. and Canada for shows in November and December. Paramore will open for her on the European dates.
