Esta TerBlanche 'All My Children' star dies at 51

As per medical professionals Esta TerBlanche had been deceased for about a day before her body was discovered.

“All My Children” alum Esta TerBlanche has passed away at the age of 51.

The actress died unexpectedly at her home in North Hollywood, California, as confirmed by her goddaughter, Barbie Ashley, to TMZ on Sunday.

According to the outlet, medical professionals believe she had been deceased for about a day before her body was discovered.

TerBlanche’s publicist, Lisa Rodrigo, also confirmed her death on Facebook, stating that she passed away on Thursday.

“I can not believe I am posting this. It’s with a heavy heart that my friend and client Esta TerBlanche passed away Thursday of natural causes,” she wrote.

Rodrigo continued, “An autopsy report is pending. I am still processing and in shock. Esta was a beautiful soul in and out. I was proud to know her and work with her. More to come in the days ahead.”

Representatives for the former pageant queen were not immediately available for comment to Page Six.

TerBlanche portrayed Gillian Andrassy Lavery on "All My Children" from 1997 to 2001, working alongside Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos.

She relocated to the U.S. from South Africa to further her acting career, but moved back to her home country in 2001 after her character was written off the soap opera.

ABC, Ripa, and Consuelos have not yet commented on TerBlanche's unexpected death.

TerBlanche's rise to fame began in 1991 when she won the Miss Teen South Africa title.

She then appeared on the big screen, starring in the South African drama "Egoli: Place of Gold" before moving overseas.

TerBlanche was married to André Kock from 1997 until 2008.
