Andrew Garfield's new girlfriend, Dr. Kate Tomas, criticized the "misogynistic nature" of the public's fascination with her relationship with the Oscar nominee during an interview with the Sunday Times.

“It’s frustrating that no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it’s always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship with a man,” Tomas said.

“I don’t want to sit under anybody’s shadow.”

The self-described "professional witch" and "spiritual mentor," who has been divorced four times, also discussed the scrutiny she has endured since she began dating the "Amazing Spider-Man" star.

“They [the paps] will take maybe 150 pictures, then they choose the four where you look worst,” Tomas, 42, said.

She elaborated on her podcast, "The Friday Emails," stating that other women have been especially harsh towards her online, according to the outlet.

“F–king hell, nothing could prepare me for having literally thousands of women telling me I’m ugly, I’m unattractive, I’m less than in every conceivable way,” she said.

Garfield, 40, made his relationship with Tomas public in April when they were seen holding hands on a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham in Malibu, California.

This appearance occurred two months after the "Hacksaw Ridge" actor was spotted displaying affection with Sports Illustrated model Olivia Brower.

Garfield has also been romantically linked to model Alyssa Miller, actress Emma Stone, and singer Rita Ora.
