Jacobabad’s district and sessions court awarded a life sentence to three accused criminals for killing a police constable in 2006. Moreover, they were ordered to pay a fine of Rs200,000 each. In March 2006, a group of armed thieves barged into the house of a police constable, Manzoor Dole, in Odi village near Thull. The policeman put up a resistance and in the exchange of fire one of the thieves was injured. In revenge, the three thieves, Khadim Banglani, Dhani Bux Banglani and Wakeel Banglani, ambushed Manzoor Dole while he was on his way home and shot him dead. A case was registered against them at Thull police station and they were arrested. OUR CORRESPONDENT
