US President Joe Biden sparked significant online reactions after a video surfaced allegedly showing him about to kiss a woman he mistook for his wife, Jill Biden. The undated clip has fueled ongoing discussions about Biden's suitability for re-election as he faces increasing pressure to withdraw from the race.

The video, apparently taken in the East Room of the White House, depicts Biden speaking with a blonde-haired woman in dark blue. First Lady Jill Biden, dressed in lighter blue, quickly intervenes, briefly interacting with her husband. Biden appears momentarily surprised before leaving the stage with the other woman. One user on X claimed, "Joe Biden was spotted about to kiss another woman he appeared to have thought was his wife until Jill Biden stopped him." In contrast, another user argued, "No sign he was going to kiss her. He was simply talking."

A preliminary search indicates that the video is several months old, possibly from a White House event celebrating Women's History Month, where Biden signed an executive order on women's health. This context aligns with reports from March 18.

Biden is currently under unprecedented pressure to exit the presidential race, with prominent Democratic figures urging his withdrawal. These calls have intensified after Biden tested positive for Covid-19 and entered isolation this week. Despite these challenges, Biden remains steadfast in his re-election bid. Close aides emphasized his determination to secure the nomination, citing his track record of overcoming obstacles and surprising critics.

Adding to the scrutiny, earlier this month, Biden mistakenly referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy as "President Putin" during a NATO summit. "And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin," Biden said, before quickly correcting himself.

These incidents have led netizens to question Biden's mental acuity, highlighting the growing concerns about his capacity to lead effectively.
