Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco test out ‘watermelon pickle sandwich’ in latest TikTok

Selena Gomez and her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, have shared a new TikTok where they experiment with an unusual summer snack: the "watermelon pickle sandwich." 

The video, posted on July 19, 2024, features Blanco, a food influencer and cookbook author, preparing the unconventional dish he stumbled upon during a social media binge. Blanco, 36, expressed his initial surprise at the snack's ingredients and lack of traditional bread.

The TikTok captures Blanco assembling the sandwich with watermelon slices, cheese, pickle, balsamic vinegar, and basil. Despite his reservations, Blanco tried the sandwich and found it "not bad." He then invited Gomez, 31, to sample the creation. After tasting it, Gomez decided it was not to her liking and walked off-screen.

This video follows another recent TikTok from the couple, shared on July 12, where they participated in a "Who’s Most Likely To" challenge. The couple answered questions about their relationship dynamics, revealing that Blanco tends to eat the most and that Gomez was the first to say "I love you."
