Diplomatic Ties: French ambassador calls on governor

KARACHI:
“With proper political and administrative steps, the Karachi issue can be resolved and political parties should play their due role in this regard,” said the governor of Sindh, Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan. He was talking to the French ambassador, Daniel Jounneau, who called on him at Governor House. French Consul General Christian Ramage accompanied him. The governor also met Malaysian Consul General Abu Bakar Mamat. Dr Ebad said it was heartening that all political parties have agreed to purge Karachi of terrorism. Foreign investment would also flow to Karachi after its law and order improves.
