Ryan Reynolds, known for his roles in Deadpool and Wolverine, shared a touching story during a SiriusXM interview on July 19 about his children's interaction with his close friend and co-star, Hugh Jackman.

The 47-year-old actor revealed that he has walked in on Jackman performing scenes from the 2017 movie musical The Greatest Showman with his kids at home.

Reynolds recounted the moment with radio host Jess Cagle, stating that his children frequently watch The Greatest Showman. When asked about the musical's influence on their upcoming film together, Reynolds confirmed that Jackman's musical is a regular fixture in their household.

"I actually can't argue with you. My kids watch The Greatest Showman all the time," Reynolds said.

Describing the heartwarming scene, Reynolds shared, "This is a true story. I've walked into my house before to hear The Greatest Showman playing. I turn the corner, and there are my kids watching the movie, singing along. And there's Hugh, acting it out with them, just like a big kid."

Reflecting on the poignant moment, Reynolds humorously remarked, "It was one of the most heartbreaking, beautiful things I'd ever seen. I knew I would never be able to top it, so I started a new life. I've moved to a new country with a secret family."

Acknowledging Reynolds' account, Jackman joined in, jokingly stating, "By the way, we didn't rent it, we bought it on your account. Residuals."

In addition to discussing personal anecdotes, Reynolds has also shared insights into parenting and life lessons during the press tour for Deadpool & Wolverine. He emphasized the importance of showing vulnerability and resilience to his children, influenced by advice from the film's director, Shawn Levy.
