Glen Powell and Twisters cast join Luke Combs onstage to chug beers at concert celebration

The cast of Twisters brought their storm-chasing energy to Luke Combs' latest concert, creating an unforgettable moment on stage.

Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos, stars of the summer blockbuster Twisters, joined country music sensation Luke Combs during his performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Friday, July 19. The gathering was in celebration of the film's release.

Accompanied by influencer Dana Beers, who had campaigned for 68 days on social media to share a beer with Combs, the trio made a surprise appearance mid-show, delighting fans and capturing the moment in concert footage posted by @BigKidDinner on X.

After exchanging greetings and a quick count-off from Combs, the group proceeded to chug their beers to the cheers of the crowd. Powell, Combs, and Beers swiftly emptied their cans, tossing them into the audience, while Ramos held onto his, and Edgar-Jones passed hers to Powell to finish.

Powell, 35, took to Instagram to share a video of the lively event, tagging Ramos, 32, and Edgar-Jones, 26, and adding a string of beer and tornado emojis to the post.

Edgar-Jones also shared a clip of the beer chug on her social media, captioning it, "So this happened 🤯."

The crossover event was particularly fitting as Combs contributed to the Twisters soundtrack with the song "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma," paying homage to the film's Oklahoma Tornado Alley setting.

Earlier in the evening, Combs and his team had watched Twisters on the stadium's jumbotron, an experience that left Combs impressed. Reflecting on Instagram, he wrote, "What a night and what a flick."

Twisters, directed by Lee Isaac Chung, serves as an indirect sequel to 1996's Twister. Edgar-Jones portrays Kate Carter, a former storm chaser haunted by a traumatic tornado encounter, while Powell takes on the role of Tyler Owens, a self-proclaimed "Tornado Wrangler" who chases storms for online viewers. Ramos plays Javi, Carter's longtime friend who reignites her passion for storm chasing.

Twisters is currently showing in theaters.
