Capital to launch digital billboard plan

ISLAMABAD:

The federal capital is set to revolutionise its advertising landscape with the introduction of a new digital billboard policy which has been finalised by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and is expected to be implemented by Monday.

The policy aims to replace traditional advertising methods with modern digital displays, transforming the city's streets into a vibrant showcase of colour and motion pictures, reminiscent of New York's iconic Times Square.

Under this innovative policy, digital billboards will be installed at strategic locations across the city, including in streets, avenues, malls, public transport, at bus stops and pedestrian bridges.
