Transgender people also counted among foreign nationals

KARACHI:

A significant number of foreign citizens, totalling 211,660 reside in Sindh province, with ages ranging from four-year-old children to 75-year-old elderly. The Digital Census 2023 reveals that Afghans make up the largest group, with a population of 145,875. Additionally, 24,137 Bangladeshis, 757 Chinese, and 40,891 residents from other countries are also included. The data also shows that foreign transgender people living in Sindh include 15 Afghans, 11 Bangladeshis, eight Chinese, and 35 from other countries. Eleven of these foreign transgender persons are over 75 years old.
