Youth electrocuted to death

A youngster was electrocuted after he slipped and touched an electric pole near the Hymun petrol pump in old Khanewal.

A 15-year-old youth Hamza was going home from work when his foot slipped due to rain water causing him to touch an electrical pole near him.

As a result, he was electrocuted and died on the spot.

According to his parents, the fatal incident occurred due to the current in the electric pole.

Upon receiving the information, the district administration, rescue, police, and WAPDA personnel arrived at the scene.
